Changing the Nameservers of your Domain Drucken

By default, we will configure the Nameservers of your Domains to ns1.balatondns.net and ns2.balatondns.net, unless you have changed them during the registration process. This allows you to use the DNS Zone manager in your cPanel to manager your DNS records and subdomains.

If you wish to change the Nameservers of your domain, for example to manage your DNS records with an external provider like Cloudflare or QUIC.cloud, you can do this in the client portal at: https://portal.balatonweb.com/clientarea.php?action=domains&language=english

Select the Domain you wish to change the Nameservers for and click on Manage Nameservers.

In the following Window, you can add the desired Nameservers. Please note that it will take up to 48 hours for the changes to be propagated worldwide. Furthermore, please note that you can no longer mange your DNS records using our cPanel DNS Zone manager. You can revert the changes at any time and point your Domain back to our provided Nameservers.

You can use the DNS Checker tool at https://dnschecker.org/#NS/ to verify to which locations the DNS changes were already propagated.

If the Manage Nameservers button is not available to you, you need to enable the free DNS Host Record Management add-on in your client portal https://portal.balatonweb.com/clientarea.php?action=domaindetails&id=1#tabAddons.
